she entered Tehran University of Medical Sciences and graduated as an MD in 2007.
Due to her passion for supporting women and advocating for their needs, she followed her dream and earned her degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran in 2015.
Following that, doctor Afshari achieved an advanced laparoscopic fellowship degree from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2018, and a degree in gynecological cosmetic and reconstructive surgery from the Academy of Gynecological Surgery in New Jersey in 2016.
She also is an official member of the American Society of obstetric and gynecological Surgeons (ACOG) and the author of the book “OSCE Women for Applicants to Participate in the National Speciality Board Exam”.
